Paper quilting involves measuring skills for older students or folding practice for lower grades. Combine individual quilt blocks into whole class or small group quilt projects. Start
with a 6 inch square base.Cut nine 2 inch squares (quilt pieces). Create designs called 9 Patch. Arrange pieces in different orders and directions to create designs. |

Glue
the quilt pieces to the paper or cloth quilt backing to form blocks
of quilting. Gather all the quilt blocks and glue together to make a
