Pretzel House paper pattern
(use back button to return)
Print house pattern on light gray construction paper.  Cut and glue on large blue construction paper.

Glue pretzels on rectangle part of house one at a time.  (Hint: If you use too much glue, the paper will warp.  Also, Elmer's Glue works - glue stick does not.)

Use a piece of black or dark gray construction paper for roof and a brown rectangle for door  (We also have used wax paper for windows if "oiled paper" windows are desired.)

Make background on the blue construction paper with trees, prairie, or people using scraps of construction paper, crayons or markers.
Pretzel House (milk carton)   Ages 4 - 9
Supplies: 1/2 pint  milk carton, pretzels, construction paper, glue
Use a clean empty 1/2 pint milk carton.  Staple the top.

Fold one piece of black or dark gray construction paper and glue on for roof.

Glue on a brown construction paper rectangle for door.

Starting at bottom, glue pretzels one at a time to sides.  (Hint: Tacky Glue holds pretzels a little quicker.  Also, it helps to lay the carton on its side and do one side at a time.)
