Christmas Tour of Homes
Thursday and Friday, November 29 & 30, 2007 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day, Pella Garden Club members present the annual Christmas Open House Tour of Homes and Tea. "Peace on Earth" is the decorating theme for three private homes on the tour. After touring the homes, enjoy a delightful Christmas Tea and the Christmas Decoration Boutique in the Scholte Church (corner of East 2nd and Franklin St.). The tea and boutique hours are 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Included in the ticket price is the Festival of Trees and Tablescapes at the Pella Opera House. The display includes over 150 nativity scenes.
Spend some time shopping in the downtown retail businesses and plan to spend the night in one of our beautiful Hotels or Bed and Breakfasts.
Proceeds from the tour go toward civic beautification projects in Pella.
Early tickets are available from Garden Club members, at the Pella Historical Village office and Pella Hometown Variety. On days of tour, tickets will be available only at the Historical Village Scholte Church.
It is ideal to travel with a group in one car, as parking near the homes is limited.

tour, tickets will only be available at the Scholte Church in
