Fall Festival
Fall Festival celebrates the Iowa harvest. Autumn colored floral arrangements accent the Village museum buildings.

Village admission: $5 adults, $3 students
Windmill admission: $5 adults, $3 students
Coffee Time in Dutch Bakery. Coffee, apple cider and cake are served all day in the Dutch Bakery. Savor a cup of cider and a Dutch pastry while listening to the antique street organ. Lunch served Saturday from 11:00 – 1:00 or while the Vegetable soup, windmill bread and pie last.
Tour the tallest working windmill in the United States, learn the ins and outs of operating an authentic Dutch Windmill.
Watch our skilled crafters at work quilting, spinning, weaving, knitting, tatting, crocheting, woodworking and making pottery. Stop and watch the blacksmith doing his craft and the steam engine with the whistle blowing occasionally. Our master woodworker will be demonstrating using tools from a previous era. A Quilt Show in the Scholte Church features Log Cabin quilts for a bygone era.
Flower Show
The Pella Garden Club Flower Show throughout the Historical Village complex features all types of artistically arranged fresh and dried flowers.
The Fall Flower Show is open to all flower arrangers and growers. Flower Show schedules are available at the Pella Historical Village office.
Scholte House is featuring a Civil War Experience showcasing the role of people in the Pella area in the Civil War.
