Summer At The Village

The Village is alive with color from various plantings. The doorstep gardens are known as Vrouw (ladies) gardens in The Netherlands. The garden behind the log cabin is full of perennial heritage flowers. Annuals fill several other memorial beds.

Educational programs continue in the summer months with a Dutch Day Camp for students in 4th and 5th grades. The Village partners with Central College and sponsors an Elderhostel focusing on Dutch History.

Fall At The Village

Fall Festival is the 4th weekend of September. Activities include a quilt show, fall flower show, flea market, working crafters, ethnic food and Dutch music.
